DUTIES / SCOPE OF WORK:
The Senior Network Engineer will be involved in the design and integration of new technologies into communications infrastructures. The Engineer will also be a part of the transition and migration of networks and development of network addressing schemes.
Responsibilities include:
•Support global classified DOD Intelligence network encompassing more than 250 sites worldwide.
•Design and integration of new technologies into new and existing systems, including the transition and migration of corporate systems.
•Isolation and resolution of complex hardware and software problems involving the application, operating system, hardware, communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof.
•Assist in monitoring the NOC and Engineering network infrastructure.
•Coordinate the installation of communications circuits with external government agencies and military commands.
•Provide network design solutions and configuration templates for installations and upgrades.
REQUIREMENTS:
•Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
•CCNP required
•Experience with MPLS required
•JWICS experience is highly desired
•Solid understanding of internetworking protocols, taclanes, Cisco routers and switches, access lists
•A minimum of five years of relevant technical experience in systems engineering activities such as the isolation and resolution of complex hardware and software problems involving the application, the operating system, the hardware, or any combination thereof.
Hours:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
