LGS is offering an exciting opportunity for software engineers in the field of cellular systems. We are a currently seeking additional staff for a cross-discipline team developing cutting-edge custom wireless communication systems based on commercial cellular standards. This is an area of rapid growth in our business starting with GSM a few years ago, proceeding through CDMA and UMTS to LTE at the present time, and looking forward to WiMax in the near future. We have an excellent reputation with our customers for providing high-value solutions to address their unique communication needs, and are looking for highly capable individuals to help maintain that reputation as our business grows.
Salary range for this position starts around the $75,000 mark. Base salary may be higher for the right candidate based on skill-set and experience. |
The Company |
These positions are focused on protocol stack and embedded application development on custom wireless communication systems. Experience with C/C++ is required for consideration on this team, with C++?OOD experience being highly desirable. Other desirable experience includes: GSM/CDMA/UMTS/LTE/WiMax protocols, other telecom/wireless protocols, SIP.
Required education: B.S. in Computer Science., or CprE or EE (M.S. preferred). Candidate must hold or have the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
