We are looking for experienced Software Test Engineers with a background in Software Testing, Software Development and a working knowledge of Automated/Regression Test Tools (Eggplant or other automated software tools) are especially desirable.
A background in one of the Intelligence Disciplines (SIGINT, HUMINT, CI, etc.) and experience on Military systems such as ASAS-L, ACE-AFS, ASAS-SS, DCGS-A, CHAMS or CCS is a definite plus.
During software testing, Software Test Engineers Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functionality, errors and inconsistencies in software. In addition, Testers recommend program improvements, establish performance benchmarks, review and contribute to product documentation, write technical daily and weekly status reports, and participate in peer reviews of software requirements, design, code, and test methodologies.
Software Test Engineers are responsible for writing and development of all documentation related to testing, including, but not limited to:
Software Test Plans, Test Cases; Software Test Descriptions, Test Procedures; Software Test Outlines, Test Data; Software Test Reports, Test Schedules
Software knowledge in one or more of the following disciplines: .NET, C#, C/C++, XML, Solaris/Windows, SQL, Oracle and Java is desirable but not required.
Test Engineers must develop and demonstrate efficient verbal and written communication skills to produce and deliver required reports and briefing materials and effectively interact with customer representatives.
