| PKI Policy Analyst |
|
Job Duties:
Candidate will be required to work with various departments within the organization to raise security awareness. Will provide CAC/PKI guidance to the Army Information Assurance constituents.
The candidate should understand DoD CAC/PKI issues and be able to communicate these issues to both technical and non-technical seniors, subordinates and peers. Will provide suggestions to improve existing processes or create new ones, where necessary, to improve the security posture of the enterprise of streamline business processes.
*Draft Information Assurance (IA) and CAC/PKI policy for Army-wide implementation*
*Propose policy changes as appropriate, consolidate, track, and manage document status*
*Interpret policy changes as appropriate, consolidate track and manage document status*
*Attend policy meetings and working groups* *Prepare staff reports*
*Provide review and comment on policy documents and/or presentations relating to Army IA and CAC/PKI*
*Serve as the customer representative at Working Groups as assigned (author meeting minutes)*
*Perform other duties or responsibilities as directed from time to time by the Team Leader or Program Manager
Minimum Requirements:
Secret Clearance
Total years of work experience: min. 10 yrs overall experience. 3-4 yrs min. with Policy development skill set
Minimum Education: BS degree
*Knowledge of DoD PKI, Public Key Enabling and DoD Common Access Card; ability to effectively use MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
*Knowledge of Army's policies and regulations (AR 25-1, AR 25-2, DoD 8500)
*Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance Policy
*Understanding of project management practices. Must have the ability to write, review, and edit documents of executive-level (i.e. General Officer) correspondence.
*Candidate must be able to complete IA training and certification requirements, appropriate for their years of IA management (IAM) experience, within 6 months of date of hire.
Preferred:
Ability to work and brief Sr. Level decision makers and large audiences on IA policy and topics; familiarity with the Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 and associated standards; familiarity with Army staffing procedures and organizational structure.
